Simple Ways to Love Yourself More Every Day

Earlier this week, I began reading Joyce Meyer's book Authentically, Uniquely You.  Only a few pages into the book, I love the message about loving yourself for you who are.  God created each of us and God doesn't create junk!


In Authentically, Uniquely You on in the chapter on Learning to Love Who You Are, there is a quote on page 7 that spoke to me.

"Before we can make friends with anyone else, we must first make friends with ourselves." - Eleanor Roosevelt

I know this has been short but I pray that these words have an impact on you especially if you're struggling to love yourself.

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no Sunday blog post.  In addition to my morning AA meeting, I'm going to a craft party with ladies from the gym at Hammer and Stain in the afternoon.  I hope to see my husband and son between the two gatherings.

Another weekend, another scout event.  My husband is gone and I'm at home doing chores that went undone during the work week. After breakfast and getting laundry into the dryer, I walked my son's absentee ballot to the post office. I observe a couple on the other side of the street; possibly a husband & wife, walking together, talking and drinking coffee. I feel a pang of jealousy but then I remember "God's Will not Mine" and decide to mind my own business.
